I love it when a plan comes together. It's taken a couple of months but my 'office' #aquarium ( @Fluvalaquatics Spec V) is getting close to what I had in mind when setting it up. Initial algae bloom has settled down, & plants are getting established.

The plants on the right are going great, the plants on the left less so. I expected that though, these things took a long time to get going in our other tank, but then shot up.

The #cherryshrimp look really healthy (great colours) & have been reproducing like crazy.

I have ended up with a massive population of #ostracods ( #seedshrimp) though. Harmless, beneficial even, but they don't look great. I think it's time to introduce some fish, which should control their numbers a bit.

Can't leave this thread ending with an unsightly swarm of ostracods so here's another gratuitous #cherryshrimp photo.
