🎀 kdramas ive seen so far if i can remember: a thread 🎀
strong woman do bong soon was the first kdrama i ever watched and it was the best intro to kdrama imo bc it id brilliantly produced and acted and its really fun to watch, keeps you at the edge of your seat and the main couple is cute and entertaining. plus the end is satisfying.
idr the order of which ive watched all the rest but i watched boys over flowers early on and that was super fun. i love how the working class girl gets all the rich populr guys to fall for her. fun high school drama, a classic
lets eat! 1 & 2 are the first kdramas that i made my partner watch. we both love food shows and the food in it is really the reason to watch..🤤 every ep made me hungry. fun plot too, but the leading guy annoyed me by the second season lol
black is a really good show if you like supernatural cop shows and ara go. its good but its been awhile since ive seen it.
speaking of ara go, i loved and also hated reply 1994. SHE WENT WITH THE WRONG GUY!!!! i got sls on this one real bad ok
stranger is a good cop drama that i remember being super intense. its also called forest of secrets. i think i just really loved bae doona
OK POSSESSED: completely and utterly fucked me up. i highly recommend it. its about an evil man that keeps taking possession of ppl and being a serial murder that spand generations and the cop that tries to stop him. its horrifically depressing ending RUINED me
oh my ghostess! kinda fucked me up too but its more lighthearted and park bo young is in it!!!! and it takes place in a kitchen. its super cute
abyss is another good one that park bo young is in. kinda weird concept (little ball that brings people back to life????) but its fun to watch if you like classic comedic drama
oh my twenties! was a good one but im still mad about the second season. the first season was good (it started off slow imo) — but they went and changed the leading actress in the second season???? like they thought we wouldnt notice?!??
romance is a bonus book is a really cute one- i saw lee jong-suk on the tl so it reminded me😂 its about a divorcee who goes back to the work force and the boss is an old friend (or more...! 😯) i liked it bc im a writer and it takes place at a publishing house
i watched when the camellia blooms not too long ago and i really loved it. its about a single mother who opens up a bar/restaurant and uhh theres a little bit of serial murder on the side
SIGNAL!!!! my friend joanne recommended this to me and i loved it so much. its a cop drama with a little sci-fi element...
korean odyssey is another really good one recommended by a friend. one of my work friends, Tiffany, told me to watch. and im glad i did!!! elegant old school dramatic fantasy type. i love love love this one. lee seung gi is so funny and cute
my holo love was really good - i recently finished it. i like the concept of having a personal assistant like siri but in human form however... the protag falling for the assistant was kind of dumb (not a spoiler you literally know its gonna happen by the title)
vagabond was another really fun one on netflix!! i love lee seung gi and he is so good in this.. also the leading lady is great, and IMPECCABLE styling for the cast... first few eps are an emotional rollercoaster... get ur tissues ready
designated survivor: 60 days is on netflix and is a REMAKE of an old kiefer sutherland show lolol. it's actually amazing if you like political dramas and the main character is dorky but i love him...
my horrible boss.. formerly on netflix, tragically doesn't appear to be anymore. but the leading actress is in a new show on netflix (white knights) - i highly recommend looking into this one if you can find it! its about beauty brands and marketing lol
because this is my first life was a cute one i recently finished as well. i liked the main characters a lot - the plot was typical romcom. kind of interesting in the first few eps, then i feel like it drags a little bit.. but over all cute
beating again is a really good, really heartwarming old school kdrama where the protag's husband has died tragically ... after death, his heart is donated to someone who needs a heart transplant - our protag meets him and something seems very familiar..
love alarm is a short one that i finished fairly quickly. it's not super memorable but was digestible. i kind of wish they had gone more in depth with the downsides of the app and the people who were "unloved" but maybe that's bc i like a little suspense
my first first love was... well, it was ok. it was kind of dumb. but i love the cast. what can i say. classic romcom. not super memorable
part-time idol was really short, cute and funny! definitely recommend as a palette cleanser between super emotional dramas.
YG future strategy office was another short + funny one!! cute sitcom about kpop record labels with LOTS of fun cameos!! if you like kpop try this out
speaking of kpop: to be continued is a really cute show about a kpop group that travels back in time to before their debut and it's short as well; a good palette cleanser inbetween emo dramas that wreck ur life
my wife is having an affair this week was another REALLY good one. BoA is in it and shes just absolutel phenomenal. main character is a man who is married and hes just like??? kind of an annoying typical dude??? the ensemble cast is rly spectacular tho. extremely well written
