Okay so I have never been on the DomeKano agenda. (Not truly, anyways. I read a few chapters here and there, started the anime, never finished)
But I gotta say I’m really impressed with how it’s maintained a vivid relevance while being unabashedly soap-opera-esque. Hence why 1/6

People have often written it off as “trash” or “drivel” because obviously it leans that direction with the emphasis on these forbidden sexual relationships. But from my perspective it really seemed to be tackling its concepts in a really serious way. I.E. I felt the chars- 2/6
Were fairly convincing and genuine which is NOT something I can say about most series in a similar ballpark. *COUGH!* TRUE TEARS! *COUGH!!*

Everyone is screeching that it is. From the snippets I’ve read of later chapters and the setup the series had I got the feeling it wasn’t for me and that it would make me an anxiety riddled mess. Hence why it’s dropped. But I still think it deserves more than the designation 4/6
“Guilty Pleasure” or “it’s trash but I like it.” Because unlike stuff like Eromanga sensei I can tell it was crafted with an incredible amount of love and genuine passion. And considering it covers such taboo material I really think that’s the best way 5/6
To address such topics. I mean, idk, I haven’t read it all the way (might not ever) but oh my gosh y’all need to cut this author some slack she’s basically written the biggest anime soap opera I’ve seen in a long time and I think that’s pretty rad tbh. 6/6
Idk @ShaKing807 does this thread make sense? I feel like I’m getting emotional over something I’m not even involved in. Gah!
