Things to ask yourself if your hair has been the same length for years::

Have you had a proper trim recently?
Is it dry(especially on the ends)??
Do you sleep with a silk pillowcase or bonnet?

If the answer to these is “no” then we solved the problem!!
OK, let’s address these one by one. 1. if you don’t trim your hair it will not grow fast. I recommend a trim every 3-4 months.. If you don’t cut off the dry dead ends they will break off. And this leads us into point 2
2. If you do not cut your hair when you have split ends the split will continue to travel up the hair shaft, so instead of just having a little half an inch that was dry &raggedy now you got 3 inches because you decided to not trim your hair
3. The difference between a cotton pillowcase and a silk pillowcase is rubbing your head against cotton or gliding against silk. If you’ve been my client you’ve heard me say that 50 million times
It’s literally just a simple as the friction from cotton against your hair is going to make it drier and more frizzy as opposed to it gently gliding across the silk. Or if you wear a bonnet it’s just there in your bonnet not getting disturbed by your pillow
And since we are talking about dry hair... my most unpopular hair opinion is that we need to stop putting so much oil on our hair. Oil does not mean moisture you are trapping in the dryness and repelling moisture by coating it in oil. 🗣so stop it
