There's been a lot of criticism of COVID-19 ads over the past few weeks. Sure, warranted...mostly.
But I've worked on a bunch for a few brands (not telling), and can tell you, they're pretty tricky briefs to get right.

Also, I haven't seen many ads where the brand or the people who made them didn't come with good intentions.
What I'm saying, awkwardly, is let people take risks. Let people fail. They're doing their best.
Besides, fear of failure cripples good comms at the best of times.

One more thing. I didn't see the clip of all the COVID19 ads around the world saying the same phrases, using same shots as an indictment on advertising...
I saw it as a demo of why montages are tired and that you should think of 10 more techniques before you resort to them.
