There& #39;s been a lot of criticism of COVID-19 ads over the past few weeks. Sure, warranted...mostly.
But I& #39;ve worked on a bunch for a few brands (not telling), and can tell you, they& #39;re pretty tricky briefs to get right.

Also, I haven& #39;t seen many ads where the brand or the people who made them didn& #39;t come with good intentions.
What I& #39;m saying, awkwardly, is let people take risks. Let people fail. They& #39;re doing their best.
Besides, fear of failure cripples good comms at the best of times.

One more thing. I didn& #39;t see the clip of all the COVID19 ads around the world saying the same phrases, using same shots as an indictment on advertising...
I saw it as a demo of why montages are tired and that you should think of 10 more techniques before you resort to them.
