I& #39;ve seen comments pointing out #NetNeutrality https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> concerns reg Facebook& #39;s investment in Reliance Jio. My comments:

1. Fact is, Jio and Fb were on the same side, with slightly different approaches, in 2015. This deal doesn& #39;t change their alignment re #NetNeutrality https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> .

(1/3)
2. I don& #39;t think we have a problem as long as @TRAI & #39;s #NetNeutrality https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> regulations stay in place + @rsprasad and @narendramodi continue to support NN.

3. Real concern here is around vertical integration, which is something that competition commission needs to look into. (2/3)
4. Jio is much more powerful than in 2015. FB remains same. The government isn& #39;t as open to public opinion on issues like privacy, encryption etc anymore. Civil society is much weaker than in 2015.

We will have to be watchful.
