It takes a lot more than three things to hold me together, but I think I can sort them into three-ish categories?
1. People.
2. Purpose.
3. Permission. https://twitter.com/Epi_D_Nique/status/1252767255831752705

1. People - best quarantine partner ever ( @aemilius_heros), my online knitting group (and its associated group chat, "Unionized Llamas"), my new book club & new group chat, the group of friends I know because of @queer_spice... all big parts of keeping this extrovert functional.
2. Purpose - I was kind of losing my shit at the beginning because I wasn't feeling useful. Like, everything felt existentially pointless. But I've reconnected with my disability community, I'm doing COVID response work alongside the usual, and I'm treating isolating like a job.
(The fact that this works for me does not mean it should work for everybody, or even that it's particularly healthy for me to measure my worth in usefulness. But I do, so it's working for me for now.)
3. Permission - this one's a cop-out because I couldn't think of a word for "naps" that starts with "p." But I'm trying to give myself permission to nap when I need to, sit on the balcony when I need to, and otherwise attend to my physical needs. I'm... getting better at it. ;)
