So many ppl think it’s rude to reject a proposal in public. Like why do y’all think that you have to lie for the sake of someone’s feelings? Why is everyone so into sacrificing themselves for other ppl’s feelings? If the answer is no say no. Ppl can say NO to anything
You cannot blindside someone & expect them to say yes. That’s very manipulative. Ppl often use crowds to manipulate others into doing what they want.
If you want to get married then you should make sure that person wants to marry you and u should know where kinda proposal your partner doesn’t want. Im extremely private I’d be pissed if someone proposed to me in public or at a family function
I don’t emote in public. I don’t care Im not wired to do anything but tell ur ass to stop embarrassing me in public. Privately, the response is different
I have a friend married to someone because he proposed at a family function & her family kept saying “say yes what u waiting on?”

Someone expressed their appreciation for me at a ceremony. Everyone kept asking me “why didn’t you cry?” So basically ppl expect you show appreciation by crying lol you don’t care unless you’re giving theatre
She said to this day anytime she wants to split he gets her family involved to talk her out of it. So now she’s waiting til her youngest graduates
