I have never, and will never ask a potential partner to choose between me & their ex. Why?

Because if I have to point this out to them, I’d be disrespecting myself & disregarding my self-worth. They could have just used their logical thinking instead. This is basic common sense.

Double standards are commonplace too.

Some people insist on keeping in touch with an ex, but they conveniently ignore or forget that they wouldn’t be alright if their current partner did the same. Cognitive dissonance.

I have a very low tolerance for such ridiculous behaviour.
