That crane is a bit of landmark. It's on a barge and was Army Corps of Engineers circa 1924 or something like that, and built a lot of man-made islands from marsh. Bit indignified retirement. Lots of marinas opposite RV parks and trailer parks. Over priced fake farmer's market...
In that a lot of stuff is shipped in via distributors and it's there aren't individual merchants there, but the beer selection is good and outdoor markets are kinda a good idea right now. But opposite it a real farm stand opens. Houses along the berm have a very distinctive style
Hidden informal trailer parks dot the loop interspersed with stilted and triple story houses and sometimes commingled. I'd love to know the story of the stilted houses as an architectural style.
