I'm perfectly aware that Left Twitter hated this. On the other hand, not only was the Sanders campaign a failure on its own terms, but so was the Warren campaign. We can ask seriously what we can learn from this. Or we can blame THE LIBS! and Tom Perez or whatever and keep losing
I'm also curious as to where left electoral politics go from here. Bernie is never going to be president. There weren't serious new leftist challengers in this year's downballot primaries. Some are even turning on AOC for playing along with Pelosi. So what does this look like?
And given the very harsh attacks on Warren from Bernie Twitter, one can't see them supporting her going forward. But who else would be to her left that might be a serious national candidate? I mean, the dead end of seeing one ancient white man as our only savior was always clear.
