I have been voting @liberal_party of Canada, on the wrong assumption that they were the party that would ensure all Canadians, no matter what their ability, would be treated equitably. The PM, Deputy PM and Minister of Finance have touted Canada's economy as the strongest in

the world, yet they are still willing to allow people across Canada to live in the deepest levels of poverty, when they can do something about it. Does it delight them to see people with disabilities going around to charities, begging for food, when everyone else gets to stay

home and order in? Do they feel like they have power over Canada's most vulnerable, when they deny direct financial help, and rather, give the money over to charities? I challenge anyone in need to call the United Way right now, and listen to what they will tell you.

They will tell you, "Not my job, man, here's a phone number you can call. Good luck!" Then, when a person calls the number given, they can never get through.

The amount of anxiety people with disabilities are going through right now, because they are not getting direct help, is

off the charts. This is going to serve to increase more emergency room visits, and higher health costs. I just pray that it doesn't result in any deaths. I have read so many statements of people being at the end of their rope, that I am seriously worried what is going to happen.
