to his surprise, namjoon doesn’t say a word. taehyung spends whole 15 minutes like that before getting up and mumbling “thanks hyung” as he retreats to his room. namjoon’s never been so confused by taehyung’s actions as he is now.

worst (best?) thing is that taehyung doesn’t stop there. when namjoon is folding laundry or watching movies or reading a book taehyung just gets on his lap and stays there for 15 minutes, the two of them doing their thing —namjoon reading and tae scrolling down his phone.

their awkward cuddles bloom into something else little by little. namjoon lifts his hand to pet tae’s hair one time and tae sighs deeply because he really missed that. the touches, the warmth of someone else against his body and, somehow, the reassurance of being intimate.

now, namjoon isn’t very good with intimacy, he’s never really been into the whole cuddling and hugging your friends or into pda when he has dated before, but somehow taehyung makes it really easy.

“comfy?” namjoon asks once, and taehyung is about to move but the older holds +

him close again. “hey, it’s okay, tae.”

tae doesn’t say word but after a few seconds he mumbles “i’m comfy.”
