Frankly I’ve seen these images in Egyptian media (& the Health Minister going to Italy) & the audience are rich elite Egyptians who feel this makes them a donor state full of bounty. Wake up! Egypt is a net recipient of foreign aid and people are barely scrapping by.

A huge segment of the population are day labourers and will have to choose between going hungry or break quarantine. Save the PPE for them!
