If a complainant files a sexual assault report w/the Metropolitan Police Department in DC, it’s assigned to the Sex Assault Unit. A detective would be assigned. The Defendant under normal circumstances would be interviewed immediately. Like that day

2/...In Biden’s case, if Reade filed a report and swore to its veracity, the detectives would normally attempt to locate him and request that he respond to headquarters for an interview. Oftentimes, a warrant for arrest is written up and taken to a judge in cambers for signature.
3/...Was this done in Joe Biden’s case? If not, why? He’s no different from any other individual accused of a felony sexual in nature in the District of Columbia.
