Education , Healthcare and Macro Economics are my forte. I spend hours combing through any information related to these sectors daily. Where I may be - home, clubs, pubs, traffic.

If anybody tells you that nothing is happening in the Education sector, the person is a dunce.

Ask the person to summarise the 2016 - 2019 Ministerial strategic plan and the new Education Sector Short and Medium term Blueprint / Work Plan 2018-2022. These are documents that a lot of people have not read. The results in education isn't physical like roads and rail.

I don't work for anyone, no political appointment, I don't even need it. But I will tell you what the ministry has achieved taking into consideration the available funding! Don't ever lose touch of that.

1. Out of school children - the number has dropped from 12.7m - 10.2m

The number will continue to fall as long as states continue to key into the FG initiatives and enact laws to make basic education compulsory. E.g Kaduna and Kano state laws on basic education.

2. Construction of 2500 classrooms in 2019

Go and find out about the procurement of furniture for teachers and students across 36 states. Initial batch of 6000 per state deployed including instructional materials.

Training of teachers - 4092 special education teachers across 36 states.

What about the training of teachers? About 500,000 teachers have undergone training in 36 states.

Go to FGCs and ask about the e- Library resource. 194 e - Libraries with 13m library resource materials to FGCs.

1.8m teachers registered by the FG, 780,000 licensed in Nigeria.
