Articles like this on instagram, in magazines, in ads, etc. are the reason women compare themselves to one another. I love buzzfeed but women should be able to wear makeup, get their hair done, dress up and not wear makeup without shame.

I want to believe the caption wasn’t meant to harm anyone, but this stigma brainwashes young girls into comparing themselves to others, not feeling like enough and feeling shameful for liking makeup and getting glam. Women don’t need to change, society and articles like this do.
