Hey @levelframes care to explain why you're selling my art on your site without permission? There's a whole "curated" Ghibli collection on here that I'm pretty sure hasn't been approved by the artists who created these pieces: https://www.levelframes.com/collections/studio-ghibli
Love to search through my email to see if I somehow forgot about allowing this at some point only to find that the "curator" reached out to me twice YEARS ago and I never responded because I just wasn't interested—so... I guess they took that as permission to just, do it anyway?
And again, if there was some easy way to issue a takedown request or copyright notice on their site I wouldn't have to resort to public shaming on social media but these sites basically all COUNT on people getting frustrated and giving up on reporting so, here I am again 🤦🏻‍♀️
How long have these prints even been on here without my knowledge?? The only reason I even found out about them was because a lovely person who was considering buying them emailed me first to make sure they were actually listed by me—because these types of sites are so common now
So frustrating. Anyway, I hope you'll take your business to other framing businesses that don't just... steal art, and if you happen to know any of the other artists in the "curated" Ghibli section please let them know that their art might be being used without their permission.
