Thread: Senate Intelligence Committee concludes in Volume 4 of its report Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump and confirms the counterintelligence investigation is *ongoing* and will be the subject of Volume 5 of the Committee’s Report.

First, note that all of the members of the Senate Intelligence Committee signed off on Volume 4 of the Report, including all eight GOP members on the Committee: Burr, Risch, Rubio, Collins, Blunt, Cotton, Cornyn, and Sasse.

Volume 4 is *heavily* redacted, but shows that the Committee not only concluded Russia interfered in the election, but Russia interfered for the express purpose of helping Trump, undermining what Trump, Barr, and the House GOP have been saying since the Mueller Report dropped.

More importantly, Volume 4 says that the counterintelligence investigation remains ongoing and will be the subject of Volume 5 of the Committee’s Report.

Those are the facts. In my opinion, this is very bad for Trump. The GOP members of the Committee could have backed Barr and said the investigation into 2016 election interference was flawed or biased. Instead they rebuked Barr and sided with the Intelligence Community.

Volume 5 on the counterintelligence investigation could be a blockbuster if it concludes Trump or his campaign was or is compromised. That investigation remains ongoing after all these years and all the attempts to shut it down. A testament to McCabe’s efforts to keep it alive.

It’s frankly hard to imagine the counterintelligence investigation could still be ongoing after all these years *without* having already concluded Trump is compromised. Especially since we know he clearly is compromised.

Trump has to be shitting himself at this point.
