This establishes exclusivity and triggers user to read further

Next, "I& #39;ve used one of my invites to refer you to CRED".
Personalization makes it more actionable, feels like other person is really asking me to do it.

Then, "one of my invites ..."
Again exclusivity and feeling of being important for the person who sent this.

"Use this link ..."
A direct and clear CTA with a possibility of reward (CRED covering the bill for 3 months)

"Hurry though, this link expires in 48 hrs ..."
Another great way of creating a sense of urgency. It immediately triggers a feeling that I should act now, else I will miss.

Could relate this with the fact, that BookMyShow& #39;s booking rate rose when they started showing that the seat booking will expire in 20 mins.
