đŸ–Œïž2nd painting session went well, goal for today reached!

At first I was disappointed that my plans to launch my art tour in 2020 weren't coming together- I felt a spiritual "No" that confused me because I felt certain the path was clear & I'd met the goals I wanted to reach,
before launching the tour- which was a new art book (done), and 100+ completed paintings (done). So, what was left to do? Why was I feeling a "no, wait" spiritual tug...?
Well, obviously my tour would have been cancelled!
And there was no way I could have known that, but...
the spiritual tug was real, and I listened to it. I didn't commit to a tour, even though I met my goals. So glad I listened even though I was disappointed and it didn't make sense at the time. Now, the goal posts have been moved. 😐 I need 200+ paintings and I have to finish-
the book I'm working on now "50 Oil Paintings Inspired by my Christian Faith". The art tour was planned to be sort of neutral in some ways, even though I have some political and Christian works. Now, I am no longer standing in the middle of the road, but firmly committed.
When I do go on tour, and now I expect that it will be not until 2022, given everything going on. I will wait until 2021 to reserve venues, on schedule for 2022. That's my current thinking, and it seems like a solid plan.
By then, I will probably have 2 more books &200+ paintings
I will be able to put on quite a show!
I look forward to meeting with as many of you as possible in person. I'm sorry it didn't work out for 2020 as planned, but I believe it will be better later, and I'm relaxed about the delay. I improve my craft with more experience, and-
by then I will have had more live painting experience via the dreadful Periscope, which I am determined to conquer.

Well, that's all on that I guess.
No tour this year obviously... but "the best is yet to come", and all of us who have had to cancel things will find that
it will be the right season, the right time... and when that day comes, it shall be glorious!
