12 tourist attractions in Nigeria you should visit.
Yankari Games Reserve, Bauchi: this time last year, I was chilling at Yankari Games Reserve. The facility blew my mind away mehn. From the games safari to having all types of wild animals on the walkway to the Wikki warm spring, Yankari is the place to go!
Idanre Hills, Ondo State: Idanre bills is an amazing place to visit. Unlike Olumo Rock that has been urbanized, I love the serene nature of Idanre Hills. It still has that rural feel to it and it’s natural vegetation hasn’t been deflowered.
Obudu Cattle Ranch, Cross-River: this is no doubt one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nigeria. Most people do not know that it’s actually a plateau on the Sankwala mountains. Long story short, you need to climb the mountain to get there, which means it’s usually cold.
Ogbunike Caves, Anambra: the ogbunike Caves is actually a collection of caves linked together by small tunnels and passageways. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest tourist attractions in the South East.
5. Ikogosi Warm Spring; Ekiti State: ever heard of a spring in Nigeria where hot and cold water flows from opposite directions then meets but never mixes? That’s Ikogosi warm spring. I’ve been here about 3 times and it still remains fascinating every time.
Gurara Waterfalls, Niger: This is currently my favorite waterfall in Nigeria. Located in Niger State, some 2 hours away from Abuja, this is one easy to access, but magnificent tourist attraction. I love the fact that you can see the waterfall from above or below.
It’s getting late and I need to attend to a few other things, so I’d complete the thread tomorrow.
