1. oh man i LOVE jc. he's so interesting & his face is so good & he cares for his family and tries to do the right thing!! if you put yourself in his shoes you can see how much he wrestles with the decisions he has to make

like he's so often between a rock & a hard place and that makes him really compelling to think about?? and also as a contrast to other characters put in what they see as similarly no-win situations >_>
