On EU PPE scheme:

Agreements signed with series of suppliers, for effective prepurchase of substantial undisclosed amount of PPE

-for surgical gowns & gloves (19 European countries)

- masks/eye protection (25 countries)

Contracts being settled bilaterally

No deliveries yet

So Health Sec is correct to say there have been no deliveries yet from the scheme we were eligible to join, but chose not to, and since most of rest of non EU Europe has joined (eg EEA)

But framework agreements with suppliers have been reached covering entire asked for demand...

So the entire supply asked for from 19 countries has been reserved with suppliers, for example surgical gowns, which we are running well short of.

This was not entire demand of all those countries - eg France has been securing tens of millions of masks bilaterally.
