Tractor Supply, Inc. Pulls Ivermectin From Shelves; Virus Police Threaten Patriot

About 30 minutes ago, I made a decision: I will never purchase from Tractor Supply again.
My daughter & I dropped by the local store for a tiny bottle of Ivermectin injectable wormer so I could treat my dog, who has ascarids.

Mind, I've been using this wormer for 30 years in horses, cattle, goats, pigs and, yes, dogs.
It is well-known & reliable as a wormer. Being on the market for so long, it is no longer under patent and thus is an inexpensive remedy for nearly any critter that needs worming.

Interestingly, Ivermectin is also used in PEOPLE as treatment for scabies.
When I lived in UY, we routinely treated all dogs with it as a prophyllactic measure against the dreaded "mosca de vera," or bot fly, or "wolves."

I would buy a small vial for about $5USD & would treat anyone in town who wanted to protect their pet from this scourge for free.
