This fall on campus could look very different. Purdue's president offers a guess:
— Policies that separate people under 35 from others. Minimize contact those groups.
— Frequent testing of students and staff, the ability to quarantine positive cases/track their contacts (cont.)
— Pre-testing anyone coming back to campus, for both infection/post infection immunity
— Allowing or requiring many vulnerable people to work remotely

Daniels closes with the cost of keeping campus shut down:

"(Shutting down) has come at extraordinary costs, as much human as economic, and at some point, clearly before next fall, those will begin to vastly outweigh the benefits of its continuance."
