i don't get enstars direction in terms of gameplay.... i guess it doesn't really matter because either way i'll just work hard for my own goals, but i'm also so ? ...

the only thing i can think of is... they made it so that casual players aren't punished for being casual, and hardcore players are...? ...? i don't know how hardcore players are rewarded (easily S+ score? ????)

i can't explain how i feel... like i think the original enstars was very harsh on newbies, but basic didn't do anything to make that easier for newbies... did they? i don't notice a huge difference, but i'm not a newbie account anymore to know

then music... i think with music they balanced it in a way where everyone is almost always equal... you don't need as many cards to score high in songs (S+ will still take a while but still, WAY faster than basic)

so they instead made it so that you benefit a lot from paying?

but i feel like something is really weird about that??? like... at some point you won't really need to strengthen your teams anymore if you consistently S+ score
and you can do that if you just... pay....

even though it's the rhythm game version of the game...?

i can't explain it well but this is why i get bored of music so easily because everything feels so far away and not very rewarding for a grinder... like it's not about grinding or consistent hardwork to get shit, it's just pay and then play with that bonus

yet basic is the one with more ways to reward you for grinding for shit... idk

either way music is clearly the go-to for newbies, i don't see why any newbie would

choose basic unless they truly cannot stand the idea of playing songs for events

this thread is a mess i guess what i'm saying is, "why the hell is grinding an event barely getting me anything for all these new cards i have... and why the hell am i still so freakishly strong and efficient in the event just because of the gacha bonus"

i'm only annoyed that my cards aren't fully optimized because i've been grinding for so long and i STILL don't have enough gems for them

but in reality i don't really /need/ the gems... i'm actually doing really well...just because of the gacha bonus??? wtf
