Inspired by @briankrebs excellent piece on the reopen domains yesterday, I did some digging on a fake news article a friend sent me today.

The first thing I did was check it's registration. It was registered 25 days ago. http://whois.domaintools.com/w24n.com

Then, just for fun, I decided to see what platform it was running on... Sure enough.. Wordpress.

My question, for anyone who might be reading this thread, who is behind this site and how/why have they chosen their target? I have my guesses, but that's all they are. Can anyone offer clarity or a deeper dig?
