I think it’s funny that someone would wear a mask inside the car. I couldn’t think of a single good reason why someone would do that (off the top of my head) 1/
So I tweeted that out in (admittedly) a mocking way to see if I was missing something. There may well be a reason but I hadn’t heard it 2/
Some of the responses seemed to be on the “yeah it’s kind of dumb side”. A couple were neutral like “might be a rental” and one (from @curtisadamo) was serious: might be a form of leadership, to which I responded “fair”, because it is a fair comment 3/
Now, as to the rucksack/running tweet—that was a PAX (I know well) stating why he won’t run with a ruck (bad for his back)—I understood it and even if I don’t agree with it (which is not relevant), I get his point. No questions (mocking or otherwise) necessary 4/
Further, as to a question you didn’t ask, would I mock somebody directly who was honestly afraid enough of getting C19 in the car (with or without anyone present). Probably not, because that would not be very nice 5/
But Twitter is a different environment. It’s a place that users can engage in a little banter (even some light mockery) in much the same way we engage in #MumbleChatter during a Workout 6/
And I’ll say Brother, if you thought my comment about the face mask in the car was too rough, you would hate me like fire ants during a Workout. But the beauty part of this is that we’re all #FTL—you can start your own mockery-free Workout in your Region for like-minded men 7/
F3 is a big enough tent that men with vastly different viewpoints can still engage—if they can tolerate one another. I’m certainly willing to tolerate you. Will you tolerate me my friend? End/
