If Just Giving apply their usual 1.9% 'card processing' fee they have kept over half a million pounds! Plus they charge 20p per donation. So ........ 1/3

from 1,310,894 of Captain Tom's supporters that's another £262k profit Just Giving have made.
By default they also apply a 10% 'optional' platform fee when you donate so if a quarter of those people didn't amend the default, they made an additional £693k!!!!!

That's why I encourage @OCDUK fundraisers to fundraise using Virgin Money Giving, who not only do not apply so called optional fees by default, they have waived their 1.9% fee during lockdown.
