2- First of all, it& #39;s basically all luck of the draw. Not what you want to hear I know.... But it is.
So, in my situation I filed at the end of March. I certified on April 14th. A week went by and no letters, no emails, nothing. No benefits...

3- I called 800-244-5631, every couple of minutes from 7:30AM today, to 11:30AM when I finally got through.
I made a little more than 45 calls to that number. Some people have made A LOT more. It& #39;s legit all luck.

4- There are 2 different messages when you call. 1 just tells you call volumes are too high and then says to hear about the stimulus package press 1. To hear about certification info press 2. Either one you press, it& #39;s still just more automated message before it hangs up on you.
5- Another message you may get when you call (THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT, when it happens it& #39;s random. There& #39;s nothing you can do to get this automated message, you just either do or you don& #39;t), is much longer. it is 4 minutes of her talking about the stimulus package...
6- After her nonsense spiel, she will say
If you are an employer Press 1.
If you are an individual Press 2.
I pressed 2. She will then give you a bunch of prompts. Press 1 for this, Press 2 for this... At the end of those, she will say something like...

7- "For more inquiries Press 5."
I pressed 5.
She will then give even more prompts. Press 1 for this etc and so on. And then inevitably she will say something along the lines of "For even more inquiries Press 6."

And then, ultimately, 2 separates times after going through all of that, she said once more We are experiencing a very high volume of calls and cannot take your call right now bla bla bla bla bla bla and hung the fuck up on me AGAIN........

10- And then I waited. For an hour.
11- But after listening to the worst kind of piano and *her* voice coming on every so often to tell me more nonsense that didn& #39;t apply to me, for that hour, THE MUZAK STOPPED AND THE PHONE STARTED TO RING OMGGGGGG

14- She fixed it in under 3 minutes. Something so so easy, a click of a button. They really should have online agents doing this right now, it& #39;d go much faster and smoother.
But, this lady was so nice. I told her I felt like I won the friggin lottery getting through to her

15- She laughed at that. And then said this is the majority of issues they& #39;re dealing with right now. People clicking NO when they should& #39;ve clicked YES. I said man they should really make what answers they want abundantly clear on the web site then.

I told her I& #39;d pass the word along so maybe some others wouldn& #39;t be a dummy like I guess I am....

17- So yeah supposedly it& #39;s fixed, and I should see my benefits deposited in 2 business days.
If it& #39;s not I& #39;m going to lose my damn mind, but for now I& #39;m just relieved and glad I talked to a human being and that human being was very helpful and sweet.

18- Be persistent as fuck. Call that 800 number all day long. Do it while you work out, while you take a walk, while you eat, while you watch tv, or while you do literally nothing else but cuddle with your cat (like I did).
