Mammon isn't exactly the brightest boy, but I refuse to believe he is as stupid as the fandom and game play him as. As someone with severe ADHD, I see a ton of signs of it in his behavior.
I'm not going to go over everything on this list, but let's hit a few of these. First off is impulsiveness. It's incredibly obvious that Mammon's impulsive spending, gambling, and reckless decisions are a major part of his character.
Mammon's been shown to have memory problems. People with ADHD often have major problems with short-term memory, both when it comes to tasks and in recalling information when we need to. He's not lazy or unintelligent, his memory just doesn't work properly.
Problems focusing on tasks he isn't fully invested in. The Mammon Way story shows this perfectly. Mammon even says he understands the formulas, but he can't focus on math when it's just numbers on a page...
...But when he thinks about it as something he loves, money, it becomes easy and interesting for him.
Speaking of The Mammon Way, his decision at the end to allow himself to be held back a year is another sign. He would rather not graduate and be judged less harshly by the modeling company when he's late to photoshoots, than be held to rigid appointments.
Mood swings, hot temper, and poor emotional regulation: Mammon is easily the most emotional of the bros. He gets very excited easily and expresses it very loudly. When he's happy, his brothers find his high energy downright obnoxious.
This also extends to negative emotions, like his blatant jealousy over MC. For ADHDers, negative emotions can be *incredibly* overwhelming and our impulsiveness leads to us reacting in inappropriate or immature ways to try and cut off the emotions before they consume us.
Poor planning: When Mammon gets an idea, he just goes for it, consequences be damned. This has made him a very good quick-thinker in a pinch a couple times, but his plans always have unexpected negatives he didn't prepare for, making him look like a fool.
He also has trouble expressing himself properly. His brain runs through concepts faster than he can voice them, which leads to stumbling over words, using too many filler words, and spouting off incomplete ideas when he tries explaining things.
On top of everything else, he has the classic stereotypical signs too. He's often hyperactive, talkative, and impatient, can't listen very well to instructions, and is considered lazy and unmotivated by others.
And he has major difficulty changing his behaviors, even when faced with the threat of severe punishment from Lucifer. Because it just isn't as simple as "stop doing shitty things." He quite literally can't stop.
