As an ADOS, I became sad/hurt when I realized Africans & Caribbeans don't want to be considered Black. I used to be so supportive of all "Black" people. I gushed when anyone Black did something great. My joy's been stolen. It's ok, I'm also aware of how much they're in awe of us.

I really believed all us Black folks were unified. Then I started noticing how Africans/Caribbeans on my job chummied with whites & joined in bullying & targeting ADOS Black folk. I noticed they isolate themselves from ADOS. I heard the anti-Black rhetoric. I saw & heard enough.
