The CEO search I've been running has concluded with an accepted offer.

Here are some statistics:
- 6.5 weeks from start-finish (this was fast, got lucky)
- 124 applicants sourced from over 20 online sites and personal network (including Twitter...thanks to all applicants)

- 17 initial phone screens
- 5 rounds of interviews, including final 2 rounds using Zoom
- 3 amazing final candidates, any of whom would be great in the role
- 1 exceptional, highly motivated and aligned CEO
- Over 40 hrs of interviewing + reference checks conducted

As always, I met many exceptional people who I will continue to interact with going forward.

The process was rigorous, time-consuming, challenged my thinking, but delivered a great outcome.

Hiring is one of the hardest things to do, esp for a critical role. No shortcuts!
