After some research into the laws in regards to sexual abuse, molestation, and misconduct of/diceecred towards children I find that J* has not committed any crimes. But what does this actually mean?

For one, it means he cannot be held legally responsible for witnessing #dahvievanity sexually assaulting minors and failing to report the abuse. What else does that mean?

Well it means that now the responsibility falls on us as citizens. We have options. We can push as a society for a change of the laws. It is my opinion that ANYONE who witnesses abuse of anyone not capable of protecting themselves of ANY KIND should be mandated to report.

It also means that we have another power. We are consumers. J* is a businessman. He is also someone who witnessed abuse and did nothing. Stood by and allowed it to happen. To those who could not consent and could not protect themselves. We may not have a legal obligation BUT

We have a moral obligation. We know right from wrong. We know that speaking up can prevent a monster from harming others. To stay silent, in my opinion,is to be complicit. Many children would go on to find themselves in harms way due to the silence and protection of

His products, or encourage others to purchase products from #JeffreeStarCosmetics. If the proof of repeated problematic behaviors showcasing his racism is not enough for you, please consider that this is a man who stood by while children were sexually assaulted and raped.

There has been no change in #jeffreestar except he is wealthier and more influential than he once was. Wealth and influence being power. Can you trust someone who will turn a eye who the rape of persons so young and do nothing to help them? I know I cannot. #boycott
