In the Finals they played together:
Stephen Curry with KD ON: 72-for-156 (46.2%) from the field, 35-for-83 (42.2%) from three, 57.4 eFG%
Stephen Curry with KD OFF: 58-for-155 (37.4%) from the field, 29-for-86 (33.7%) from three, 46.8 eFG%

From 17-19 postseason,
Stephen Curry with KD on: 60% eFG
Stephen Curry with KD off: 51% eFG
Why doesn’t Ben Taylor talk about this? Why don’t Warriors stans ever being this up?

17-19 postseason,
Warriors with Steph Curry on and Kevin Durant off: +2.45 net rtg
Warriors with with Kevin Durant on and Steph Curry on: +8.11 net rtg
And yet, we only see videos and graphs on Steph’s gravity. No mention on the other guy.

That video Ben Taylor made about a year ago gets sent to me 7 times a day. Cool video, but what Ben fails to mention is: Curry without KD played 80% mins w/ Draymond while KD played 56% minutes w/o Curry w/ Draymond. Durant is +6.58 w/o Steph/Dray while Curry is -5.83 w/o KD/Dray
To further prove that on/off net rating is mostly line up based, Kerr slotted KD into Curry’s usual minutes in the 2019 season. These are how the net ratings looked that regular season:
Warriors with Steph on and KD off: +1.14
Warriors with KD on and Steph off: +10.40
Warriors with Steph on and KD off: +1.14
Warriors with KD on and Steph off: +10.40
Ben also tweeted out KD getting a wide open dunk cause of Curry but won’t mention that Durant had significantly less contested shots than Curry. % of shots that were open (no defender within 4 feet), 2017 Finals
Curry - 48.4%
KD - 27.8% https://twitter.com/elgee35/status/1252281754494230528?s=21

Anyways I proved my point, a lot of this Curry shit is narrative and agenda based. KD obviously benefitted from transitioning from having Ibaka and Roberson space the floor for him to the two greatest shooters ever doing so but stop acting like it was one sided.
