So let’s talk on what I have been trying to read for few days. It’s Rindu Bau Pohon Tin by ustaz Hasrizal Abdul Jamil.
I’ve been a fan of his writing circa 2010-2011 from his blog. At first, I was moved by him wanting to diet coz it is a must, an obligation as a Muslim to take care of his health.
And I learnt lots of things from his writings as he says things directly, not too berkias and he is a man who dislikes dakwah by using sarcasm. That, he wins me. So yeah, I really respect him
So his books, among the ones that I read was Di Hamparan Shamrock
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="☘️" title="Shamrock" aria-label="Emoji: Shamrock"> told you, the feeling from reading it was so good, I kinda addicted and I kept on looking for his other books. But was so busy, some of them stuck in the bookshelf for quite some time now
So during PKP, some of my colleagues decided to do some sharing session on books we read and I need to present (supposedly last Sunday but managed to escape). Hence, starting to read this book of Rindu Bau Pohon Tin
However, It’s somehow hard for me to keep on reading coz, the story is somehow really close to me. It’s about him during his early days studying in Mu’tah, Jordan and how he really misses those.
Dude, I have been struggling to not missing Wellington and the days I was there with the bestest people. That’s why, I can’t go on.
But the book was good. I was reminded of how precious knowledge and books are. Like I said, Ustaz Hasrizal is really good at writing and make you realize things so simple yet so meaningful. Haha
So this thread is kinda how I will present my reading tomorrow. Hope I can at least done reading half of the book by tomorrow. Haha
