1) NHS, seeing WWX quelling Baxia, sets Su She to get killed by cutting himself & blaming Su She. This is the wound, btw, that LXC is helping w/ before turning to JGY.

2) After Su She gets got, blink-and-you'll miss it, but NHS calls his next, and final shot: JGY.

i just need you to understand how fucking hot I find this split second of film that I've only just now clocked.

like. the body language. the consideration. the competency of his revenge. it's not ornate, it gets the job done with the tools provided.

look, there's something in comparing NHS and JGY's approach to revenge, right? JGY and the ornately gilded murder of his father, designed not only to kill, but thematic revenge too. rape & death by all the women JGS discarded. It's revenge for Qin Su as much as it is for JGY.

there's a similar thematic revenge in NHS using LXC for the final blow, but I don't think that was pre-planned. NHS looks to get the job done, thoroughly, no loose ends. but it has none of the fussy poetry of JGY's murder of his father.
