Spotted this gorgeous, huge moth fren this morning out by the garage this morning. Easily a 6” wingspan and sooooo fuzzy. I have *never* seen a moth like this around here, but @inaturalist assures me that they are common. I’m going to keep an eye on it because I’m hoping to figure out if the wing wrinkle is a defect or if this thing just hatched out? I’m not a moth person, so maybe that’s obvious to someone else out there ... ?
