Ya'll. Just wanted to say that I adore being the regular colorist on #nightwing. Out of the entire batfamily I always related more with Robins and Batgirls than I ever did with Batman. He is great and all, but I'm Robin all the way.
In high school I had a nightwing shirt that I literally wore until it was falling apart. When I started to get rid of my superhero tshirts, that nightwing shirt was the only one I kept.
Part of the reason I love Nightwing is that when I was reading monthlys consistently, Scott McDaniel was the regular on that title, and I absolutely adored the energy on the page.
The fact that a very pro LGBTQ community cropped up around Nightwing is icing on the cake. Love that character. Love his inclusive community.
anyway- I just finished the annual, and I'm right into issue 72, so I'm just thinking a lot about Nightwing. Hope I get to work on him for a long long time.
