I& #39;d like to report an #instacartRobbery. I placed an order on @Instacart yesterday. I received a call today at around 10:09am that my groceries were delivered. I said great, 6 minutes earlier than what was anticipated. I hung up, went outside, no groceries.
I thought, hell maybe the @Instacart delivery lady went to the wrong address. I tried calling her back, but of course the number she called me from I get a recording. There is no way to reach her. I thought, well maybe she got confused and delivered to my neighbor.
I walked over to my neighbor, no groceries. I reported the issue on the @Instacart app, called, wrote them on Twitter; no response after 2 hours. Either the delivery person completely messed up the orders, or they very likely stole the groceries they were supposed to deliver.
I& #39;d hate to believe that, but what else could have happened. Looking back, it was strange. I& #39;ve been home the whole time. I never heard a car approach, neither did my dogs. They would normally bark if someone was at the door.
She didn& #39;t knock like I requested either, I wouldn& #39;t blame her if she didn& #39;t with the corona and all. But there is no way she ever came to my house. I literally hung up with her and walked to my front door. The running theory is the @Instacart delivery lady stole my groceries.
So now I have to take time out of my day to resolve the issue which defeats the whole purpose of using instacart. I& #39;m out the money, the groceries, my time, and haven& #39;t received a call back from @Instacart on how they plan to address the issue.
I really don& #39;t know what else I& #39;m supposed to do, so I& #39;ve resorted to coming on social media and whining about how @Instacart #JackedMyGroceries.
Almost going on 4 hours now waiting for @Instacart to get back to me. This is nuts. I& #39;m about to call my bank. I cant even call them because "due to covid-19" they have no phone support. #InstacartJackedMyGroceries
Past 6 hours now, still no response from @Instacart on my missing grocery order. I spoke to my bank and they advised me to call them back once the charges have posted to have them removed. I really hope @Instacart has gotten back to me before it comes to that. #InstacartBurglar
Still no response from @Instacart after almost 10 hours. My groceries were stolen by the @Instacart driver and you fail to provide me any customer service. Not even an acknowledgment of my iddue and the assurance that someone will be reaching out to me. #InstacartSucks
Whole day passed and still no response from @Instacart. Where are my groceries? #Instacart you #JackedMyGroceries! Where is your #CustomerService?! Im not doing this anymore. You have lost a customer for life.
Its not so much that the @Instacart driver stole my groceries, we could have taken care of that with a simple 5min phone call. Its more that your #CustomerService is lacking. There is no reason I shouldn& #39;t get a call back within a few hours of reporting the incident.
Over 24 hours in, and still no response about my #MissingGroceries from @Instacart. Apperently you need to be very cautious when using this service as they have no customer support if something goes wrong with your order.
Finally! I was able to reach @instacart through the chat option that wasn& #39;t working yesterday. They are sending me new groceries, and giving me a small credit, and supposedly free delivery on my next order, if I choose to use this service again.
They tried to reach out to the shopper but could not reach her. I really wanted to know what really happened with my original order. Either way, he took care of my situation, it took him 5 min. So if you run into issues, your best bet is the chat option.
