I don& #39;t know anyone who tells lies with such regularity and shamelessness as Matt Hancock
Thing is he was doing this exact shit last month, nobody called him out, and he& #39;s realised he can get away with literally anything
The man went on national television and called our nurses and doctors liars for claiming there were shortages of PPE
He has faced zero consequences for this and never will
He has faced zero consequences for this and never will
There doesn& #39;t seem to be a topic, an area, a conversation that Matt Hancock won& #39;t lie about
Yet because he faces no consequences, there& #39;s no wonder he will simply keep shamelessly doing it

I think there& #39;s a wider political point to be made from this, given we& #39;ve seen the Tories have free reign to simply lie their way through to power
We saw it in 2019, with the "do or die" Oct 31st Brexit deadline we knew was impossible, yet they knew there would be no consequence

Doesn& #39;t matter whether it& #39;s Starmer, Corbyn, Blair leading the party. Labour will never win if there are no consequences for the Conservative Party.
The current, power-serving media setup will always keep the Tories comfortably ahead in the polls.
Even when thousands are dying.

At what point would the polls start dropping? At what point would the BBC or the political correspondents we see on here each day call them out? There clearly isn& #39;t a line to be crossed because otherwise they& #39;d cross it every day.
Labour need to understand this.
Labour need to understand this.
As if my point in this thread wasn& #39;t clear enough, the polls currently show that voters find Keir Starmer less trustworthy than Matt Hancock, a man who lies every single time he opens his mouth
Labour cannot win under the current system.
Labour cannot win under the current system.
Once again, Hancock& #39;s absurd antics yesterday only emphasise every point I& #39;ve made in this thread
I didn& #39;t think there were any methods of lying left but literally every time he opens his mouth
I see Hancock was doing today& #39;s briefing therefore
