Shout out to the content creators, for real.
The nervousness you feel in producing and sharing your own content is not a joke, and y’all do it consistently anyway. I’m over here like, will people care? Will anyone watch?! Whew.
New levels of respect.

I know I am a content creator, too. But usually, I’m sharing content/programming I’ve hosted or reported on.
Everything hits different when it’s something YOU created.

However, one of the things I’ve been too still (physically) to avoid is my fear of creating things that no one will care about.
This quarantine, in a weird way, has caused me to do the work in strengthening trust in my own vision, and in sharing the stories I want to tell.

I’m learning to trust that I don’t create things on my own accord.
As creatives, we‘re often doing work that is bigger & more important than ourselves. God, alignment, spirituality...Call it what you want. But it isn’t an accident. No idea, dream, show, or plan, is an accident.

The ideas you have, the ones that keep you up late at night and never leave your mind, are things you are meant to create. It will touch and impact whoever it needs to.
Can’t worry yourself out of something you are meant to do. Don’t give worry or fear that power.

Oh, and don’t get me started on perfection.
Perfection paralyzes progress. That type of mindset can trick you into thinking that nothing you do is good enough. So you over analyze your work and don’t put it out at all.
But the more you share your work, the more you learn. And the more you learn, the better you’ll become.

These are all things I am learning in real time. But respect, love and admiration to the folks who bet on themselves every time. I see you. I respect you. I’m inspired by you.
Keep sharing with us. It matters.
