This whole ATEEZ cultural appropriation storyline is actual bs. I'll admit that the pose is similar to the pose of Nataraja, a form of Lord Shiva who represents the art of dance.
However, as someone classically training in Bharatanatyam and currently performing a Shiva Stuti dance I don't see how this taken as cultural appropriation.

The cultures of Indian Hinduism as well as Buddhism have spread throughout the entirety of SE and E Asia.
Of course there are going to be similarities in dance/language styles because throughout history these different groups have interacted with each other and the culture reflects that. This is not cultural appropriation-or at least cultural appropriation of a Bharatanatyam dance
For it to be truly cultural appropriation of Bharatanatyam he would have had to completed the pose.

The pose of Nataraja is not complete without the right hand raised in pathaka and the left hand forward in dola hasta. He is doing neither of the hand gestures.
In conclusion, antis are wilding.
