In this chaupai, Goswami Tulasidas Ji says :
Both, the holy and Unholy are born together in this world. But like the lotus and the leach - which although are also found together, they have a huge difference in their characters.

Holy men are like amrit ( Honeydew ) while the unholy are like Madira ( liquor ). Just how both Amrit and Madira were found together from the samudra ( reference to samudra manthan ), the world which gives birth to these holy and Unholy men is also one.
