1. Volunteer. The best way I know to get out of . . .a slump is to take myself out of the situation & focus upon others.
Food pantries, pet rescues, community organizations, charities that deal with the elderly all need help.

You can even Skype with kids who need your expertise in school work. There are many options. Find what works best for you!
2. Facebook & http://Meetup.com have groups associated with various interests. Join some. Chat w others. Join in on their watch parties.

3. Reach out to people from your past. Say hello. Say you're sorry. Accept their apology. Say how much you miss them. Make the call. Reconnect.
4. Write a letter to those in the military or at a nursing home or working as a first responders. Tell them how much they matter.

5. Paint rocks. Yes, paint rocks. Paint them with encouraging messages and leave them in places for people to find. It's a whole thing, don't ya know!

6. Write or type in a journal. It can be one sentence. It can be one incoherent thought. Who cares? Write it down. Let it go. Or, write it down so that you remember. But get it out.
