I read a thread and here's the summary. The man wasn't financially buoyant but had a gf who was willing to stay and work with him on this journey, he then wanted to settled down but brought her to his family but they said they had someone from their tribe...the girl they sorted

Ended up asking for a Benz and he didn't have that and it was shocking she made that request. He now went to get his gf that same day and proposed to her and they lived happily ever after.
And ended with a didactic about good women. I've questions as regards this story.

My question is while eschewing the virtues of a good woman as is the essence of the writer's story, isn't it obvious that the man in question neglected the one he had on the alter of outside noise?
