Vacation is always a good time you can spend in foreign countries enjoying good weather and beautiful nature.
I already forgot what is vacation due to #stayathome , but @Hertz helped me to recover my memories. I was in #Armenia last summer. This is a really beautiful and hospitable country.
If you plan to go there and/or plan to use rental service from @Hertz in another country, read this thread if you do not want to get in the same situation as myself.
Vacation was great, I rented a car with @Hertz, drove to #Georgia which is also a beautiful country and safely returned back. Everything went perfect, vacation was amazing.
However after 6 months I got a suspicious transaction from @Hertz Armenia and after some time an email saying I was fined due to traffic violation. I opened a dispute against @Hertz with the best, in my opinion, online banking @N26.
And I got an answer from MasterCard, that @Hertz provided them with ticket records, I also got these ticket records. After some Armenian crash course and help from my armenian friend, we found out that all these documents were falsificated.
And the worst thing is that these documents were officially provided as evidence to MasterCard. First fine is missing in the public Police database, and was “captured” on date when I was not in Armenia, and I have stamps of border cross with Armenia and Georgia.
Second one was also falsificated, as this fine was captured on a completely different date and place based on the official website of the Armenian Police department.
I am still in progress with @N26_Support (thank you very much for taking care) trying to cancel fraud transaction and for all of you: AVOID using @Hertz service or at least request/check documents when they charge you, and go to #Armenia and #Georgia.
If you've faced with such issue in #Armenia check this website to prove your traffic violations https://offense.roadpolice.am/violation
P.S.: I appreciate, if someone can recommend where I can get consultation regarding this issue, if this Hertz actions with falsification of fine records are a legal law violation and can I open a legal case against it?
