Bakugou scowled as he approached the open house. He'd been driving by when a sign caught his eye: Brownstone for sale. The price was beyond than anything he could ever hope to afford, but fancy-ass open houses like this typically had good food, and he was a cheap son of a bitch.

Some day, /maybe/ he could buy a home like this one, but definitely not for a long, long, /long/ time. At twenty-four, he was still a fairly recent college grad, and he was still working an entry-level position at the tech company he'd signed on with.

The home was, of course, absolutely stunning. All of the houses out this way were. Dark brown brick faced the home, surrounding a wood-door garage that had been stained a natural, vibrant honey shade.

Trees lined the flagstone drive and sidewalk. Everything was perfect.

The bushes were all trimmed within an inch of their life, and somehow, every flower was in bloom. The grass was short and bright green--it /almost/ looked spray painted--and the windows gleamed in the afternoon sunlight.

Bakugou huffed as he sauntered up the stone steps.

The door was wide open, and people inside milled around, pointing at things and talking with a man in a suit.

Bakugou rolled his eyes and ignored the suited man for now--though he glanced at the man's plump ass more than once. The food was calling his name.
