There's A LOT of confusion around the one-time $1,200 "economic impact" payment & disability benefits — I think the Trump admin deliberately created that confusion

So if you rely on #SocialSecurity, #SSDI, #SSI or #VeteransBenefits, I'm going to try to provide some answers
IF you get #SSDI or SOCIAL SECURITY RETIREMENT or RAILROAD RETIREMENT BENEFITS

AND you didn't file taxes in '18 or '19

AND you have a child under 17 y/o who qualifies for the $500 payment

THE DEADLINE TO TELL IRS ABOUT YOUR CHILD IS TOMORROW AT NOON https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here
IF you get #SSI or #VA benefits

AND you didn't file taxes in '18 or '19

AND you have a child under 17 y/o who qualified for the $500 payment

WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE DEADLINE TO TELL IRS ABOUT YOUR CHILD WILL BE
What happens if you miss the deadline?

You should receive the $1,200 one-time, adult, economic impact payment – we guess those payments will start going out in May. But that payment will not include the $500 per child money.
IRS is currently saying that if you miss the deadline to tell IRS about an eligible child, you will not get the $500 payment for that child until 2021.
Why?

Basically because this administration is run by arsonists
